winning team in the compe on's history. Achieving prize money parity in our team compe ons is a goal of the ITF under our Advantage All programme (see page 10). These prize money levels were enabled by the ITF's new partnership with Gainbridge, who in September became the new tle sponsor of Billie Jean King Cup. Luxury clothing brand Tory Burch also joined in June as official outfi er, and for the Finals created 'Billie Blue' jackets that were presented to the Swiss champions. It marked the first me a winners' jacket has been awarded in women's professional sport. Microso and Magellan completed Billie Jean King Cup's por olio of commercial partners in 2022. There was increased fan engagement with the Finals. In addi on to the 20,000 fans who a ended in Glasgow, they were broadcast on television in a record 196 territories, and there was a 60% increase in traffic to the official website compared to 2021. Play-offs and regional events Fi een home-and-away es took place across the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers in April and the Play-offs in November (where Qualifier places were at stake), ensuring this important element con nued in the compe on. There were nine regional group events covering Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe/Africa. For 2023, the ITF is increasing the number of regional groups to 11, enabling smaller group sizes and lower costs for hos ng and par cipa ng na ons. This has resulted in six more na ons applying to stage a Billie Jean King Cup regional event in 2023 than in 2022. Celebra ng 60 years The Billie Jean King Cup will celebrate its 60th birthday in 2023 and is on course to set new records for na on par cipa on. The Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals will be held in Seville, Spain for the next two years as the ITF con nues to deliver a world- class compe on in its new era.
