2022 ITF Annual Review 23 DEVELOPMENT Olympic Solidarity courses Grants for na ons to hold coaching courses are available through Olympic Solidarity, a commission that provides support to all Na onal Olympic Commi ees for development programmes. One of the courses organised by the ITF was the Olympic Solidarity ITF Coaching Advanced Players (CAP) course, which aims to provide fast- track coaching opportuni es to former professional players and coaches, leading to ITF cer fica on and poten al progression in their coaching careers. Nine former players a ended the in-person part of the course in Valencia, Spain and all passed. Among them were Croa a's Karolina Sprem and former junior world No. 1 and Grand Slam finalist Marcos Baghda s, who gained experience in his early playing career as part of a touring team supported by the GSPDP. The ITF also helped to organise 19 technical courses with Olympic Solidarity funding in 2022. Coaches conferences We were able to hold some of the ITF's annual regional coaches conferences in person again in 2022. There were 161 a endees for our conference delivered in English in Bali, Indonesia, and 177 a endees at our event delivered in English and Spanish in Bogota, Colombia. We also held a virtual conference in French, with 142 people taking part. The biennial ITF World Coaches Conference will be held in Bogota in October 2023 and will be a live, in- person event delivered in English and Spanish, with recordings of sessions available through the ITF Academy.
