Education Coaching is the lifeblood of tennis development. The ITF invests in providing high-quality coaching and training tools and materials and makes them available to as many people as possible. We provide courses both in person and online, conferences and a range of publica ons. Our Coach Educa on programme offers training and cer fica on at four levels. Much of our educa on ac vity is powered by the fast-growing ITF Academy online pla orm. ITF Academy grows Launched in 2019, the ITF Academy is our online global home for tennis educa on. Through it, coaches, players, parents, sports science prac oners and anyone with an interest in tennis have access to more than 200 short courses in video, audio and text form, and an extensive content library containing all the ITF's coaching publica ons, conference videos and scien fic research papers. The ITF Academy had more than 260,000 users in 2022, a 16% increase on the previous year (see graphic opposite). In 2022, the ITF Academy was used to deliver more than 300 blended- learning programmes, u lising courses, workshops and webinars, to individuals from more than 90 countries. By the end of the year, 100 of our member Na onal Associa ons had agreed to ITF Academy Na onal Associa on membership plans, adop ng the pla orm as their preferred centralised learning management system, and this number con nues to grow. The ITF Academy was used to deliver the online por on of the ITF's wider tennis parent educa on workshops, launched in 2022 and rolled out in every region accompanied by in-person sessions. Plans for 2023 include the launch of courses for club managers, a specialist course around coaching female players, and adding more wheelchair tennis, beach tennis and officia ng courses.
