4 ITFWORLD SPRING 2016 ITF RESTRUCTURE NEW STRUCTURE FOR ITF The start of 2016 ushered in some changes to the structure of the ITF, with two new Senior Executive Director positions being created to oversee two expanded departments at the ITF's London offices. I n December, ITF President David Haggerty announced that Kris Dent and Stuart Miller had been promoted to Senior Executive Directors to heads up two expanded departments at the ITF that include the activities of the former Development Department. As Haggerty explained, "These decisions will improve the efficiency of the ITF and the change in structure will give Development more opportunity to realise the primary goal of the ITF: to develop, grow and promote tennis around the world." Since January, Miller had led a department called Integrity Tennis Events, and this includes all ITF Circuits — Pro Circuit, Juniors, Seniors, Wheelchair and Beach Tennis — as well as Live Scoring, Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, Olympic Tennis and Hopman Cup. Justine Albert was promoted to Executive Director of Pro Tennis Events, and Jackie Nesbitt was promoted to Executive Director of ITF Circuits, both reporting to Dent. Miller and Dent have spent the last few months settling into their new roles and assembling their teams around them. Opposite they give some insight into their expanded responsibilities. and Development, which added Development, Rules of Tennis, Governance and some legal activities to his previous responsibilities for Anti- Doping, Anti-Corruption, Science and Technical. Reporting to Miller, Luca Santilli was promoted to Executive Director, Tennis Development, and has taken over day-to-day responsibilities including participation, Grand Slam Development Fund and Coaching. Jamie Capel-Davies was promoted to Head of Science and Technical.
