ITF Beach Tennis Tour Tournament Organisational Guidelines 2015 Page 5 of 19 I. PRE AND POST EVENT TOURNAMENT RESPONSIBILITIES 1. ITF Beach Tennis Tour tournaments must offer Men's and Women's Doubles events. The minimum Main Draw size is 16. Tournaments may hold larger main draws and/or qualifying events. Mixed Doubles and/or Singles events may also be held at a tournament but they will not be valid for ITF Beach Tennis Ranking points. 2. Prize money may be offered (not compulsory) at tournaments on the ITF Beach Tennis Tour. Sanctioned tournaments that offer prize money (as stated on the application form) must distribute the prize money to teams in accordance with the ITF Beach Tennis Tour Rules and Regulations, to be calculated by the Referee. 3. The official ITF Beach Tennis Tour Fact Sheet must be submitted by email to the ITF Beach Tennis Department (Beachtennis@itftennis.com) by the relevant deadline (see Appendix B), to enable such information to be provided for the benefit of players. Details of start and end dates, entry and withdrawal information, accommodation, transportation and other relevant tournament information must be provided on the official Fact Sheet. Failure to comply with the deadline for submission of Fact Sheet information may result in the removal of a Tournament from the Tour Calendar. 4. Cancellation or substantial change to tournament arrangements less than sixty (60 days prior to the scheduled start of the Tournament shall subject the organiser and/or sanctioning National Association to reimbursement of unrecoverable expenses incurred and/or denial of subsequent applications. 5. If required, tournaments shall assign to the ITF, free of charge, one (1) page in the Official Tournament Programme for an ITF editorial or advertisement. 6. If required tournaments shall display up to two ITF Beach Tennis Tour banners on their main court. These banners will be provided at the expense of the tournament. Grade 1 tournaments should consider this a minimum requirement. The Tournament report shall include a photograph of the banner(s) in place. 7. Tournaments are responsible for managing player/team entries and withdrawals for their own tournament. Entries and withdrawals can only be accepted when submitted on the ITF entry/withdrawal form. Acceptance Lists must be published immediately following the entry deadline. Tournaments may accept late entries at the discretion of the Tournament Administrator/Director but acceptance priority must be given to teams that enter before the entry deadline. 8. Following conclusion of the Tournament, the Referee shall send to the ITF the completed draw sheets for the Doubles Main Draw and Qualifying (if applicable) and the Tournament Report.
