This investment ensures an interna onal player pathway exists in every region, which begins with 12-and-under regional team compe on and extends to the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors and on to the professional game. In 2024, the Grand Slam Player Development Programme funded five 14-and-under regional Events We invest in junior events around the world in the 14-and-under and 12-and-under age groups to ensure that compe ve opportuni es are offered as widely as possible and that talented players from all na ons are iden fied. At 12-and-under level, the ITF funded 23 regional team championships and a record 828 players from 106 countries took part. This 9% growth in par cipa on reflects the popularity and importance of compe on for this age. championships involving 304 players from 67 na ons. These were held in Brazil, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Fiji and Togo. The winners and finalists of these tournaments are given the opportunity to take part in the next step on the 14-and-under player pathway, compe ng in major interna onal tournaments in Europe, America or the Pacific. 43
