Italy, runners-up to Canada in 2023, were led to victory by Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani, the Olympic doubles gold medallists from Paris 2024. Player par cipa on in the Finals was the highest for four years and included five- me Grand Slam champion and then-world No. 1 Iga Swiatek, No. 4 Paolini, No. 11 Danielle Collins and No. 12 Paula Badosa. For the third successive year, our tle sponsor Gainbridge backed player prize money to ensure equity with men's prize money in Davis Cup. A total purse of $9.6 million was offered for the Finals, with Italy receiving a combined $2.4 million as champions. We had record digital viewership for the Finals, with 34.8 million social media impressions, 15.5 million video views and 1.8 million engagements, up 134% on 2023. There were 4.8 million page views on billiejeankingcup.com, up 145% on 2023. Globally visible The Qualifiers in April were highlighted by a new a endance record in Sao Paolo, Brazil, as nearly 15,000 fans watched Germany beat the hosts over the two days of compe on. This was one of eight home-and- away Qualifier es, with a place in the 2024 Finals at stake for the winners. There were a further eight home-and-away es in November's Play-offs, where 2025 Qualifier spots were in conten on. For the ITF, home-and-away es are an important element of Billie Jean King Cup, ensuring the compe on can be seen around the world. At regional level, 114 na ons competed in 11 group events across four geographical zones between June and November 2024. Moldova joined as a first- me host when Europe Group III was held in Chisinau. Off court, the Billie Jean King Cup entered a new era in 2024 as the ITF started its joint venture with TWG Global, unlocking investment to elevate the compe on further. A new en ty, Billie Jean King Cup Limited, is focusing on commercial, sponsorship and broadcast opportuni es. Moving to a Final 8 From 2025 the Billie Jean King Cup Finals will become an eight-na on event, aligning with Davis Cup. To transi on from the previous 12 na ons to eight, the 2025 Qualifiers and Play-offs are being played under a unique format, with six Qualifier and seven Play-off group events each featuring three na ons.
