I am pleased to introduce the ITF Global Tennis
Report 2024, the ITF's latest survey of worldwide
tennis par cipa on and performance.
This report, for which a record 199 na ons
contributed par cipa on data, builds on the insight
provided by our previous surveys in 2019 and 2021.
As before, it also includes player performance data
drawn from our own databases. The ITF Global
Tennis Report remains the largest examina on
of the worldwide tennis landscape undertaken.
The latest findings are extremely posi ve. We can
report a significant increase in par cipa on, with 106
million people now playing, a 25.6% rise since 2019.
This shows growing interest globally for our
sport, and improved and enhanced methods
for how the data is collected.
Tennis' growth reflects the work and investment
of the ITF through our ITF2024+4 strategy to
ensure the game thrives today and for future
genera ons. We are joined in that effort by
our 213 member Na onal Associa ons and
six affiliated Regional Associa ons.
We believe that tennis is for everyone, and its
global appeal is linked to being a sport that can
be played for a life me with clear health benefits.
