At regional level, there was compe on in 11 groups across Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe/Africa. For 2023, four new groups were introduced to absorb the greater number of countries compe ng in Billie Jean King Cup and to reduce costs for hos ng and travelling na ons. Joint venture with TWG Global From 2024 the ITF is in partnership with the Sports, Media, and Entertainment arm of TWG Global, forming a joint venture which creates a new business model for Billie Jean King Cup. The ITF holds a 51% majority share of the new en ty, Billie Jean King Cup Limited, and TWG Global are making a substan al investment. They will also provide exper se and infrastructure for the marke ng and promo on of the historic compe on, led by Ilana Kloss of Billie Jean King Enterprises (BJKE), and work to source new sponsorships, broadcast, and commercial partnerships to elevate the event further.
