And with our Advantage All gender equality goals in mind, we weighted our investment towards women's events, funding more tournaments at the higher prize money levels. In 2023, in partnership with our member Na onal Associa ons and tournament organisers, the ITF staged a record 103 women's W60, W80 and W100 tournaments (offering prize money of $60,000, $80,000 and $100,000, now known as W75 and W100), nine more than in 2022. We also held 53 new W40 ($40,000, now known as W50) tournaments and provided complimentary hospitality for players at 29 W80 and W100 events. In doing so we achieved greater gender parity in professional tennis at this level. Together with WTA 125 tournaments, the women's ITF World Tennis Tour provided playing opportuni es for women that nearly equalled those provided for men on the ATP Challenger Tour. The ITF is working towards complete parity for 2024 and beyond. Overall, there were 571 men's and 564 women's events on the 2023 ITF World Tennis Tour. On the men's side we held a record 255 M25 events. As noted above, from 2024 the naming and ranking The ITF World Tennis Tour is a fundamental part of interna onal professional tennis. It is the main artery which delivers the best players to the top of the sport, providing a link from junior compe on to the elite. The tour offers five prize money levels for women from entry-level W15 tournaments ($15,000 in prize money) up to W100 tournaments ($100,000), which cater for players ranked around the WTA Top 100. For men, we provide entry-level tournaments in two prize money categories, M15 ($15,000) and M25 tournaments ($25,000). Players compete to develop their game, earn ranking points and prize money, and advance to higher-level tournaments – either staged by us, the WTA, ATP or the four Grand Slams. Record rewards Record prize money was awarded on the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2023, with a total of $17.5 million available for the women, an increase of 16% on 2022, and $11.1 million for the men, up 12%. We held 1,135 tournaments in 73 countries (see graphic right). In line with our ITF2024+4 strategy to provide more playing opportuni es, we focused on increasing the number of events available
