2023 ITF Annual Review 29 point structure of women's events has changed. These are now known by the ranking points awarded to the winner rather than the prize money of the tournament. These changes, which align with the WTA's tournament structure, correspond with the ranking points awarded at ATP Challenger tournaments, making it easier for players and fans to understand. New college pathway The ITF launched the College Accelerator Programme in 2023 to provide a route for the best women's US college players to move up the player pathway. Offered in collabora on with the Intercollegiate Tennis Associa on and the WTA, the programme provided up to five main draw places across W25, W40 and W60 events for women finishing in the Top 5 of the year-end ITA rankings or as finalists of the NCAA Championships. The best men can make the same transi on from college tennis to ATP Challengers. Player-centred We con nued to listen to players' experiences on the ITF World Tennis Tour. We had over 3,000 responses to our tournament feedback survey in 2023 which helps us raise and maintain standards. New representa ves were elected to our Player Panels for 2024-25, and ITF staff con nued their schedule of regular 'on the ground' visits to tournaments. Our Tournament Recogni on Programme was introduced during the year, to recognise and reward events that perform best in our evalua on programmes. In support of our female players, we rolled out a new educa on module to W40 and W60 physiotherapists.
