The ITF focuses our funding in six areas that cover all aspects of tennis development: par cipa on, performance, events, educa on, facili es and administra on/resources. We invested $11.97 million in growing the game in 2022, a 45% increase on the previous year, reflec ng significant recovery for our tennis development ac vi es following the pandemic disrup on of the previous two years. Of the $11.97 million we invested, $2.65 million of funding was provided by the Grand Slam tournaments via the Grand Slam Player Development Programme (GSPDP). Since the incep on of the GSPDP in 1986, over $60 million has been provided to develop tennis interna onally. Other funding in 2022 was provided by Olympic Solidarity ($217,010), the Interna onal Tennis Hall of Fame ($50,000), an Interna onal Federa on grant from the IOC ($70,000) and a development dona on from the Kazakhstan Tennis Federa on ($648,921).
