Under the newly-introduced Finals format, like the Davis Cup, na ons compete in a week-long event in a women's World Cup-style showcase. In what was a record edi on for the number of na ons par cipa ng in the event as a whole, last year saw Prague host the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, where 12 na ons competed in four groups across six days. In 2022, the Finals will be held in Glasgow, Great Britain.
