SLOVAKIA 2-3 ITALY
Lorenzo Musetti picked the perfect
moment to record his first Davis
Cup match-win as Italy fended off
a ferocious effort from Slovakia.
The 20-year-old defeated Norbert
Gombos in the deciding fifth match,
which lasted two hours and 24
minutes.
I am really proud of myself for what
I achieved. For sure, it is an honour
to wear the colour of my country.
I played with my heart. I have to
thank the captain for trusting me.
It's really amazing what I achieved.

AUSTRALIA 3-2 HUNGARY
After a seven-year hiatus, Thanasi
Kokkinakis marked his return to
the Australia team by clinching the
decisive fifth match against Hungary's
Zsombor Piros at the Ken Rosewall
Arena in Sydney.
Davis Cup is so different," said
Kokkinakis, who won the Australian
Open doubles titles alongside
Nick Kyrgios in January. "In singles
tournaments, it feels like you're
playing for yourself but here it feels
like you've got the whole country
backing you and supporting you.

FINLAND 2-3 BELGIUM
Davis Cup has a long and proud history of
providing defining moments for relatively
unheralded players and in Espoo Zizou
Bergs was added to that list as he won
the decisive point for his nation, defeating
Otto Virtanen in straight sets.
I've been dreaming of playing Davis Cup
ever since I was young and I saw the
guys playing on TV. This is why I play
tennis and this is what I want to do.
The week before I was nervous because
I knew this could happen. I'm super
happy that I handled it well.
