14 I ITF CIRCUITS AND PROFESSIONAL TENNIS EVENTS • ITF PRO CIRCUIT The Women's Circuit consists of six prize money categories – $10,000, $15,000, $25,000, $50,000, $75,000 and $100,000. The Men's Circuit is comprised of two prize money categories – $10,000 and $15,000 – which must be staged as a series offering a minimum of $30,000 in total prize money. The Grand Slam Development Fund (GSDF) again provided crucial funding to the Women's and Men's Circuits, with 17 ITF member nations receiving fi nancial assistance enabling them to stage 26 weeks of tournaments. These grants ensure competitive opportunities are available around the world and the benefi ts of the GSDF are felt by players in all regions. In 2015, 99.77 per cent of Pro Circuit tournaments benefi tted from the live scoring service. The launch of a live scoring app for mobile devices in September provided an additional means to view the service, complementing the existing web-based scoreboard. The ITF Pro Circuit continues to provide guidance for young athletes embarking on a professional tennis career. The Player Welfare programme, under the guidance of the ITF Player Welfare Offi cer, includes an emergency 24-hour counselling service and advisory website, as well as a series of educational videos aimed at assisting players who experience harassment or abuse or who are in need of guidance. Pro IPIN membership, which enables players to manage their own tournament entries as well as providing a platform for important messages and announcements, grew by 2.5 per cent with a total of 20,474 players registering in 2015. The ITF Pro Circuit is comprised of week-long tournaments organised and/or approved by ITF member national associations to provide international playing opportunities for top national players embarking on a career in the professional game.
