I T F C O N F E R E NC E A N D AG M Zagreb, Croatia, 20-23 June The ITF's annual congress is being hosted by the Croatian Tennis Association in their capital city and an extra day has been added this year. The draw for the 2017 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas competition will take place during the event on 20 June. W I M B L E D O N London, Great Britain, 27 June-10 July Can Novak Djokovic achieve a hat-trick on the All England Club lawns or will somebody breach the grass court defences of the twice defending champion? In the women's event, Serena Williams, who won her sixth Wimbledon title last year, will still be the player to beat. I T F B E AC H T E N N I S WO R L D T E A M C H A M P I O N S H I P Moscow, Russia, 12-17 July Beach tennis's flagship team event, now in its fifth year, returns to the Russian capital. Italy will be hoping to defend its titles in both the main competition and the 14-and-under junior event, added for the first time in 2015. DAV I S C U P BY B N P PA R I BA S Q UA RT E R F I NA L S Worldwide, 15-17 July The ties that will decide the 2016 Davis Cup semifinal line-up are, with host nation first, Serbia v Great Britain, Italy v Argentina, Czech Republic v France and USA v Croatia. There are also 16 ties taking place in Groups I and II, and four longer Group III and Group IV round-robin events finishing this weekend. I T F B E AC H T E N N I S WO R L D C H A M P I O N S H I P S Cervia, Italy, 4-7 August Italy's Adriatic coast will once again host the event that decides which pairs win the coveted men's and women's World Championship titles. I T F WO R L D J U N I O R T E N N I S F I NA L S Prostejov, Czech Republic, 1-6 August The finale of the ITF's international team competition for 14-and-unders brings together the top 16 boys and girls national teams from around the world. Last year's winners were Korea's boys and Russia's girls. O LY M P I C T E N N I S E V E N T Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 6-14 August Four years on from London, defending gold medallist Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer are still the ones to watch on the men's side as Olympic tennis makes its South American debut. Serena Williams, four-time gold medallist in singles and doubles, could be a strong contender again but the pressure of a podium place makes upsets likely on the world's biggest sporting stage.
