It has been my pleasure to serve as President for the last 16 years, and I am confident that under David's leadership, the organisation can continue to grow with the support of the ITF staff and our 211 member nations." On a day that ushered in a number of changes for the ITF, elections also took place for the ITF Board of Directors for the period 2015-19, marking the first time the Board has been elected for a four- year, rather than two-year, term. Sergio Elias (CHI), Jack Graham (CAN), Anil Khanna (IND) and Rene Stammbach (SUI) were re-elected to the Board, and were joined by new members Martin Corrie (GBR), Ismail El Shafei (EGY), Bernard Giudicelli (FRA), Thomas Koenigsfeldt (DEN), Celia Patrick (NZL), Aleksei Selivanenko (RUS), Stefan Tzvetkov (BUL) and Bulat Utemuratov (KAZ). Adams, Khanna and Stammbach will serve as Vice Presidents on the Board. Retiring Board members Roman Murashkovsky (RUS), Stuart Smith (GBR) and Georg von Waldenfels (GER) were named Honorary Life Counsellors of the ITF. Over 290 delegates, partners and staff attended the AGM, held over three days at the Santiago Marriott Hotel, and hosted by the Chilean Tennis Federation under its President Jose Hinzpeter. In the lead-up to the formal AGM on Friday 25 September, there were meetings of five Regional Associations of the ITF on 23 September, followed on 24 September by presentations from the candidates for ITF President and Key Issues Sessions.
