All nominated players must hold a valid passport for that nation and players in each team must be from the same nation. Players in the mixed event must be nominated for the men's or women's event. Each nation must select a captain to be the responsible person on-site during the event. The captain may be a playing or non-playing team member. Entries must be submitted by the National Association on the official Entry Form provided by the ITF. All Entry Forms must be signed and stamped by the responsible person at the National Association and sent by email to Edwin Suikerbuik (beachtennis@cbtenis.com.br). It is the responsibility of the National Association to select the nation's captain and the individual teams that will represent its nation in each event.
