3 JUNIOR TEAM COMPETITION INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION The junior competition will be open to all ITF member National Associations but participation in the junior competition is not a requirement for participation in the professional event. A junior team must consist of a minimum of two boys and two girls and a non-playing adult captain but may consist of a maximum of three boys and three girls. The captain shall not be a playing member of the professional team. The junior competition is a separate event and the results will not count towards the adult competition. There are no Ranking points available for the junior event. Junior players are not permitted to compete in the adult event. AGE AGE AGE AGE ELIGIBILITY ELIGIBILITY ELIGIBILITY ELIGIBILITY The competition is open to players aged 14 & under taking a player's age on the first day of main draw. To be eligible a player must have a birthday between 16th July 2000 and 15th July 2002 (13-14 years old) ITF Beach Tennis Tour Eligibility rules will apply to the players and captain. The captain is responsible for all members of the team throughout the competition (on and off site). FORMAT FORMAT FORMAT FORMAT Ties between nations will comprise of a boys' doubles, girls' doubles and mixed doubles match. The format for the junior event will be the same as the adult event unless decided otherwise by the ITF and Organising Committee. HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY HOSPITALITY Full hospitality is available in the official hotel for up to three boys and three girls and the captain.
