1 ITF BEACH TENNIS WORLD TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 15 th – 19 th July 2015, Moscow, RUSSIA Fact Sheet INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION The Team Championship is a mixed competition open to all ITF member National Associations in which nations compete against each other on a knock-out basis. The Team Championship has joined the individual ITF Beach Tennis World Championships as the flagship events on the ITF Beach Tennis Tour. A Junior competition has been introduced in 2015 for players aged 14 & Under to recognise and stimulate the development of the sport at a junior level. Please refer to Junior Competition section at the end of this fact sheet for full details. Competition will begin on Wednesday 15 th July and the final will take place on Sunday 19 th July 2015. Teams are expected to arrive on Tuesday 14 th July and depart on Monday 20 th July 2015. The Draw will be made onsite immediately following the captains' meeting on Tuesday 14 th July 2015. Please note that team captains must be onsite for the captains' meeting on Tuesday 14 th July.
