*For the purpose of this rule a 'live match' is defined as any match, the result of which
could affect the outcome of the tie. For avoidance of doubt, a decisive Mixed Doubles
match is a 'live match'. A win through walkover will only be considered a match won for a
nominated player who has played and won a live match in that year's event. A win through
retirement will be considered a match won for the nominated players. A Bye will not be
considered a match won.
