Roland Garros was the first tournament they had played together. Zimonjic, in partnership with Sam Stosur, made up for his disappointment at Wimbledon. The Serb and the Australian, playing together for only the second time, won the title by beating Max Mirnyi and Chan hao-Ching 64 62 in the final. The victory completed Zimonjic's haul of mixed doubles Grand Slam titles.
