GRAND SLAMĀ® CODE OF CONDUCT ARTICLE I: GENERAL A. PURPOSE The Grand Slam Board (GSB) promulgates this Grand Slam Code of Conduct (Code) in order to maintain fair and reasonable standards of conduct by players and the organisers of Grand Slam Tournaments, and to protect their respective rights, the rights of the public and the integrity of the Sport of Tennis. B. APPLICABILITY This Code is applicable as stated herein to the four Grand Slam Tournaments. C. EXCLUSIVITY This Code is the exclusive basis for disciplinary action against any player at Grand Slam Tournaments who violates its provisions. Players are also subject to the AntiCorruption and Anti-Doping programmes set forth in Articles X and XI respectively. D. UNITED STATES DOLLARS All monetary fines set forth in the Code are in US Dollars. ARTICLE II: PLAYER ENTRY OFFENCES A. ENTRY OFFENCES 1. Late Withdrawal Non-Appearance No player may withdraw his entry from the Main Draw of a Grand Slam Tournament for any reason after the withdrawal deadline, except that players on the Alternate list for the Main Draw may withdraw at any time prior to such time as they are moved into the Main Draw as a Direct Acceptance. A player who has entered the Main Draw or Qualifying and been accepted, and not timely withdrawn, shall appear for play.
