Navratilova was also unbeaten in 20 doubles rubbers before losing her final Fed Cup doubles rubber during USA's 2004 World Group quarterfinal v Austria, to post a 20-1 record. In 2012, Roberta Vinci took sole ownership of the record for perfect performances in doubles, overtaking Angelique Widjaja's mark of 16-0.
