The Tour has grown rapidly in the past two years – 554 events were held in 2025, an increase of 83% on 2023, and we are on course to stage a similar number this year. Sand Series drives rewards Total prize money in 2026 will be approximately $2.5 million, another high mark following record rewards in the last few years which have been driven by World Tennis's creation and elevation of the Sand Series category. These eight top-tier tournaments in iconic locations attract the top professional Beach Tennis players and offer the highest prize money, ranging from $75,000 to $100,000. In 2026 they have been taken to new locations and prize money boosted further. At stake for the best-performing Sand Series players is qualification for the year-end Sand Series Tour Finals, being staged in Sao Paulo, Brazil in November. The other two major events on the Tour are the World Championships, which took place in Portugal for the first time in September ($115,000 prize money) and the World Cup, being hosted in Sao Paulo, Brazil in November. Our work to globalise the sport through our tournament offering was reflected in Spain's breakthrough triumph at last year's World Cup, where the nation lifted the team trophy for the first time. Our goal is to increase the global reach of beach tennis and take this young, vibrant form of our sport to new places on the World Tennis Beach Tour. We're also working to get more people playing, whatever their level. Beach WORLD TENNIS At the grassroots level, World Tennis provides guidance to our member National Associations on expanding the sport in their countries. Player pathway and grassroots As well as professional tournaments, in 2026 we are expecting to stage 45 junior events to provide opportunities for young talent to compete. Last year we created another pathway for rising talent by launching the New Wave invitational event. This features promising players aged 17 to 20 and is held in conjunction with the Sand Series Tour Finals, providing a valuable competitive experience and exposure to elite events. At the grassroots level, World Tennis provides guidance to our member National Associations on expanding the sport in their countries, supported by our regional Development Officers. In support of our work to increase the global footprint of beach tennis we are working in partnership with our Commercial department to create new income streams from our properties. Livestream success Fast-moving and lively, beach tennis has a strong live-streaming following. Including our partnership with Play BT, there were 20 million views from 58 events in 2025, with streaming available on World Tennis's OTT platform on our website. 28 We Are World Tennis 2026 l Tours & Player Pathway
