Advantage All is a guiding principle in the implementa on of much of the ITF2024+4 strategy. Our goal is to level the playing field for women to compete in tennis, and to progress in roles in leadership, officia ng and coaching. Leadership Our Advantage All Leadership Programme supports women to become leaders and decision-makers in tennis and sport. From 2027, the ITF Board must be composed of a minimum of five men and five women, and the ITF is working to ensure there are sufficient female candidates to step up to roles on the ITF Board and to our commi ees and commissions, as well as to leadership posi ons at regional and na onal level. In 2024, we con nued to hold on-line and in-person networking events for the 127 women involved in the programme, bringing together female leaders and key stakeholders, and providing opportuni es for discussion. The ITF and LTA in Great Britain jointly held an in-person 'Inspired to Lead' event during Wimbledon, hosted by Katrina Adams. The event included a panel discussion and a Q&A featuring three female Na onal Associa on presidents. Another in-person networking event was held in Malaga, Spain Rewarding progress With many of the ITF's member Na onal Associa ons already working hard to promote gender equality, we have an Advantage All reward and recogni on programme that recognises their efforts with a cash prize and celebrates their achievements. The 2024 Gold award was presented to Tennis Australia at the ITF's AGM, with the Silver award going to the French Tennis Federa on and Bronze to the Argen na Tennis Associa on. Nine na ons received a highly commended award. Best prac ce from the previous year's Gold and Silver award winners, Tennis Canada and Tennis Australia, was shared in 2024 via case study seminars. Addi onally, a pilot Twinning Ini a ve was launched, with Tennis Canada transferring their prize money to the highly-commended Seychelles Tennis Associa on and providing support to accelerate their gender equality work. UN HeForShe ITF President David Haggerty con nued as a United Na ons HeForShe Champion in 2024, reaffirming the ITF's commitment to progressing gender equality ini a ves globally. The ITF is collabora ng with other Champions, who together form the UN HeForShe Alliance, to create a toolkit to support male allies. In 2024, Katrina Adams was named the Global Winner of the 2023 IOC Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) Champions Award. Adams, the former ITF Advantage All Commi ee Chair, received the honour in recogni on of her outstanding contribu ons in par cipa on, leadership, portrayal and resource alloca on. The ITF is grateful for financial support for the delivery of the Advantage All programme in 2024 from the Founda on for Global Sports Development and Sidewinder Films. in November during the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Finals. Officia ng and coaching At Paris 2024, our interna onal officia ng team for the Olympics and Paralympic Tennis Events were for the first me an equal split of men and women. The ITF con nues to advance gender equality in officia ng, and 2024 saw the first all-female White Badge (mid-level) officia ng school held in Paris. Advantage All events to inspire women officials were held at Grand Slam tournaments, Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup and Paris 2024. The ITF Global Tennis Report 2024 found that 24.3% of all coaches are women, up from 20.6% in 2019, but work will con nue in 2025 to improve the gender balance in this area. Na ons and regions We are suppor ng our member Na onal Associa ons and affiliated Regional Associa ons to join us and effect real change, encouraging them to implement their own gender equality strategy. Through 2024, 83 na ons and all six of our affiliated Regional Associa ons had signed up to 'I Pledge', the ITF's ini a ve to secure a tangible commitment from our na ons and regions. Regional Associa ons have taken steps to promote female leaders which have increased the percentage of women on their boards to 29.1% and doubled the number of female candidates standing for elec on. We issued a call to ac on in 2024 for more male leaders to join our 'Men as Allies' programme and champion equality in their sphere of influence. In 2025 we will provide educa on for our Allies so they have the best tools to promote gender parity. 59
