We provide funding and dedicated staff globally to ensure we can deliver our development projects in the key areas of par cipa on, performance, events, educa on and facili es. Development Officers The ITF has 10 Development Officers who work full- me in regions around the world to grow tennis. They are an essen al part of delivering the ITF2024+4 strategy on the ground and in 2024 visited 102 na ons. They provide a link between our member Na onal Associa ons and the ITF head office in London, and tailor development projects to suit local needs. They nurture par cipa on in their na ons, address training and coaching needs, work with Regional Associa ons, iden fy talented players, facilitate our performance programmes and much more. Regional Associa on grants We supported the running of our six affiliated Regional Associa ons in 2024 by providing administra on grants. The money helps these key regional organisa ons with their overall opera onal costs, hos ng mee ngs and other resources. The ITF collaborates closely with Regional Associa ons, and we meet with them regularly. Regional Associa ons run some development projects on our behalf and support us with key parts of our work to grow the game, and they bring our member Na onal Associa ons together in their respec ve parts of the world. Funding criteria The ITF's member na ons can access the full range of projects available across the six strategic areas of our tennis development programme. Funding and assistance are determined by an assessment of Development Eligibility, based on each na on's specific level of resources and its representa on within the Grand Slam tournaments, Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup. Using these criteria, a na on is placed in an eligibility er which determines their access to development projects. In 2024, eligibility for 200 na ons was set at Tiers 1 to 3, and for 13 na ons was set at Tier 4. These ers are re-assessed on an annual basis. Administration and Resources 47
