page 23). The next World Par cipa on
Conference will be held in 2024 and
will return as a face-to-face event.
ITF Global Tennis Report
We will start work on the third edi on
of the ground-breaking ITF Global
Tennis Report in late 2023, when the
ITF's member Na onal Associa ons will
be invited to survey the tennis-playing
landscape in their countries.
The ITF Global Tennis Report, first
published in 2019, established for the
first me a worldwide picture of tennis
par cipa on and performance, and
the second edi on in 2021 found that
more than 87 million people around
the world play tennis, an increase of
4.5% since the previous survey. We
are targe ng another 30 million people
playing tennis by 2030, and call this
our '30 by 30' par cipa on goal.
