2022 by the numbers: the ITF's ball, equipment and court certification programmes 2022 ITF Annual Review 52 An -doping and an -corrup on The ITF delegated responsibility for opera ng and administering the Tennis An -Doping Programme (TADP) to the Interna onal Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) in January 2022. The ITIA is an independent body funded by the ITF, ATP, WTA and the four Grand Slam tournaments. The ITF President is a member of the ITIA Board. We remain the Signatory for the sport of tennis to the World An -Doping Code (WADA Code) and con nue to be responsible for any non-compliance with the Code. We monitor ITIA an -doping ac vi es to ensure that compliance is maintained. The ITF con nues to be represented on the World An -Doping Agency Strategic Tes ng Expert Advisory Group, and on the ASOIF Medical and Scien fic Consulta ve Group which support and monitor WADA ac vi es. The ITIA also operates the Tennis An -Corrup on Programme on behalf of the ITF, ATP, WTA and the four Grand Slam tournaments. The ITF liaised closely with the ITIA in rela on to all an -doping and an -corrup on ma ers in 2022. Sport science and medicine The inaugural Mental Health in Tennis Summit was held in New York during the US Open. The summit, hosted by the USTA and co-organised by the ITF, was a joint ini a ve of the T7 group of the seven key stakeholders in professional tennis (ITF, ATP, WTA and the four Grand Slam tournaments). It brought together 70 delegates to discuss mental health and establish founda onal principles and recommenda ons for the sport. The summit agreed that support for, and promo on of, the mental health of tennis players and other individuals involved in tennis (such as officials and coaches) should be a priority for tennis's governing bodies.
