and women's World Cup of
tennis. Revenue from each
is reinvested by the ITF into
the development of the sport.
As such, they form one of
the eight priori es of the
ITF2024 strategy.
The BNP Paribas World Team
Cup is wheelchair tennis's
equivalent na on-versus-na on
compe on, a flagship event
in which teams from all over
the world take part.
In addi on to these annual
events, the ITF manages
the tennis and wheelchair
tennis compe ons at the
Olympic and Paralympic
Games. Eleva ng the posi on
of tennis within the Olympic
and Paralympic movement
is another of our ITF2024
strategic priori es – income
received by the ITF from
the Games is also reinvested
into the global development
of tennis.
The ITF's major events are at the pinnacle of the global tennis
pathway and give players the chance to represent their country
in a largely individual sport.
