DEVELOPMENT
To do this, we work with our
member Na onal Associa ons
and Regional Associa ons across
the world to both increase
par cipa on and develop talent.
Tennis is a game that can be
played by anyone, no ma er
their age, gender, background,
playing standard or physical
ability and we want to help
and encourage more
people to start playing, and
con nue playing. As such,
we provide the opportuni es,
funding, events, resources,
structure, educa on, training,
facili es, and equipment to
ensure players, coaches and
officials from all countries can
get involved and progress along
the pathway from playground
to the podium.
As the interna onal governing body of tennis, one of the ITF's
main goals, and one of the eight key priori es within our ITF2024
strategy, is the development of the sport by increasing investment
and exper se to grow tennis in all four corners of the globe.
