The number of professional players ranked in the
Top 500 during the period 1 January to 31 December
2019, broken down by age.
• 58.3% of the players in the ATP Top 500 were
25 years or older.
• Players who were 24 years or younger made
up over half of the WTA Top 500.
• More than 90% of players in the men's and
women's Top 500 were 19 to 32 years old.
