Timing of revenue recognition 2020 The group does not expect to have any contracts where the period between the transfer of the promised goods or services to the customer and payment by the customer exceeds one year. As a consequence, the group does not adjust any of the transaction prices for the time value of money. Contract assets decreased in line with the decreased activity and revenue of the group due to the global pandemic. Contract liabilities decreased with the release of the remaining Olympic deferred income arising from Rio 2016 which was not replaced by Tokyo 2020 which was postponed. Remaining contract liabilities represent revenue deferred due to the postponement of the ITF's flagship competitions. In 2020, $17.4m was recognised as revenue that was included as a contract liability at the beginning of the year (2019: $39.4m). 20
