Australia, one of only two nations in the Qualifiers to have reached the knockout stages of the 2019 Finals, dispatched their South American rivals 3-1 in Adelaide. It was a similar story and scoreline in Nur-Sultan as Alexander Bublik booked Kazakhstan's ticket to the Finals with victory – his second singles triumph of the tie – against Robin Haase of Netherlands. In a behind-closed-doors affair at the Circolo Tennis Cagliari, Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli joined forces to guide Italy safely past the potential banana skin of Korea, Rep. The hosts were dominant throughout and posted a 4-0 win.
