With the process digitalised, we can now survey na ons on a regular basis using the ini al findings as a benchmark, to monitor the effec veness of our strategies and gain a be er understanding of how the tennis landscape is evolving. It is a huge step forward for the sport of tennis and gives the ITF a clear idea of where we are now and the work s ll to be done. The ITF has analysed them to find key global and regional trends, producing some striking headline figures. Both the global and na onal findings are presented in the ITF Global Tennis Report 2019. The data contained in these pages enables the ITF to measure the impact of our investment in growing and retaining par cipa on in the sport, and helps us to target that investment be er. For Na onal Associa ons, there is now greater understanding of the importance of this insight and its value when planning development and performance programmes.
