by age
The number of professional players ranked in the
Top 500 from 1 January to 31 December 2017,
broken down by age.
• Players who were 25 years or older made up over
60.4% of the ATP Top 500.
• 57.9% of players in the WTA Top 500 were age
24 or younger.
• Over 90% of players in the men's and women's
Top 500 were 19 to 32 years old.
